We're not one-dimensional and neither is art, and I am interested in exploring multiple dimensions.
Hi! I'm Rada.
The truth is, I'm not much of a talker, but when it comes to art and life in New York this can change.
I haven’t been making music since I was two. In fact, I started later in life when my creative curiosity took me back to this early passion of mine. I wondered if it was possible for someone like me, a person with no formal music education who didn’t play an instrument and didn’t know any musicians, to make music. I began experimenting with my ideas and believed that if anything were possible, nothing could stop me.
So...here I am meeting you! Who knew? My original song, “Anonymous In New York,” is my first big song, as I often call it. How did I get to make it? The love for music drove me, and the rest...is not meant to be a big secret! Check this out, trace my steps, stick around for more and, hey, why not start an experiment and see where it takes you?
My music is inspired by New York City which is my home away from home, my world travels which brought me and my two suitcases to the U.S. when I was 18, and the people I've met on the way. When I don't make music, I am most likely engaged in another art form like photography or theater. Browse my photos (including the ones by yours truly) by visiting the photos section here and check your hometown's theater program to see what Broadway musical is currently playing on stage. I may have had something to do with getting it there and will be so happy if you go see it!
P.S. In case you were wondering, I grew up in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Check it out and visit! It's Europe's Capital of Culture in 2019.
